Hi, I’m Ray Richards - a professional Handyman and owner of Good Plan Handyman, and helping homeowners and real estate professionals add value to their investments is what I do.

Whether you have one item or a long list, I am the guy you can trust to show up with a plan, do it right the first time, communicate with you every step of the way, and give you an end result that works and looks great. 

 My father and grandfather ran their own contracting business building and remodeling homes. As a boy, I was always a helper on the job site. In the beginning, I was sweeping the floors. Eventually, I learned how to do it all. 

Over the years, I worked as the right-hand guy for several contractor business owners in construction, remodeling, painting, tile setting, and commercial maintenance. I saw first-hand what it takes to run a successful business and have satisfied customers.  

In 2018, after the birth of my first child, there became a need for me to better support my growing family. I decided to put all of my career experience to use and start my own Handyman business. 

Now I get to work with homeowners and property management companies every day. I get satisfaction from helping others improve the look and value of their investment while supporting my family. 

I provide an in-person on-site 1-hour assessment service. I then show up on our scheduled day of work with a good plan and materials in hand. My Good Plan process is designed for your efficiency and savings. 

I have a wide variety of skills that I acquired from my 20+ years of working experience. This means that I could be the one-and-done hire for most of your projects. Imagine how much time and stress you’ll save by hiring one person instead of many.
